Now check to see if it's created the tumblr folder, if so look for the image. If tumblr supports the new permissions it should prompt you to turn them on, from what ive always known it does not do this and you have to do this yourself. Make sure the app is not running in the background and sign back in and see what happens when you try and download an image? Watch for a brief notification. Now go into the app settings and clear the data etc and turn off the storage permission. If you are sure there is nothing in the tumblr folder go ahead and delete it. I seem to remember 2 folders being created, a tumblr and one Yahoo folder. Sadly I don't have an account anymore so cannot fully check. Additionally, Tumblr has gotten a bad rap for being the place to find self-harm and suicidal content in a glorified context. It’s not hard to find sexual content (more on that in a moment), violence, and cyberbullying. The dangers of Tumblr are essentially the same as every other major social media platform.
